Magdalene Home exists to give homeless teen girls and young women who are pregnant, parenting, or considering adoption a safe and supervised place to live. Our nonprofit home is founded on Christian teachings regarding the God-given dignity and value of every human life. Our doors are open to any young mother in need, ages 14 through 24, without regard to race or religion.
We are committed to providing physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual support for pregnant or parenting young mothers who are homeless or abused. We emphasize life and parenting skills, realistic goal setting to encourage wellness, and the healthy development of mothers and their children.
Magdalene Home is the ONLY home of its kind in southern Oregon and has dramatically improved the lives of over 500 young mothers and their babies since opening in 2001. We provide a safe and nurturing home for homeless pregnant or parenting young mothers and their babies as they work towards a brighter future.
Our dedicated housemothers provide individual guidance to each girl by removing barriers and helping her achieve goals in the areas of physical/emotional wellbeing, education, job training, parenting education, life skills, and healthy relationships.
